State of the Earth Tour

State of the Earth Live Tour with Ben Davidson, Space Weather News, sun magnetosphere and Earth

Ben Davidson is taking the science off the screen and into the room. The State of the Earth Tour is a full day of live, in-person space weather and earth changes science with the founder of Space Weather News, running through seven US cities from August 2026 to February 2027. One day per city, one hotel ballroom, limited seats, no live stream.

Pick your city

Tickets from $99.95. VIP with dinner and Q&A at every stop. VIP sales close 10 days before each event.

What you'll experience at a State of the Earth event

A full day of science, presented live and in plain language. Not a webinar you half-watch with the tab open. You are in the room.

The talks

Ben delivers his core sessions live: State of the Earth, Master the Disaster, and Phoenix Rising. The State of the Earth talk lays out what he is watching in the sun, the magnetic field, and the atmosphere. Master the Disaster turns it into practical preparedness. Phoenix Rising covers the bigger cycle and what history shows about it. You get the full arc in one afternoon.

The VIP dinner and Q&A

VIP admission adds dinner and a Q&A with Ben after the main session. Smaller room, real questions, direct answers. This is where you talk with him instead of watching from a distance. VIP is a separate tier and it is capped tighter than general admission.

The room and the community

These events draw the people who already follow this work and want to meet others who do. Coffee in the morning, snacks midday, a full day alongside a crowd that takes this seriously. The venues have no overflow, so the room is the room. When a city sells out, that date is done.

The science Ben covers: space weather, the sun, and earth changes

Here is what the tour is actually about. Ben Davidson presents the research he tracks every day at Space Weather News and walks a live audience through the connections he sees. These are the topics he covers on stage, presented as a body of research and discussion, not as fixed predictions.

A weakening magnetic fieldEarth's magnetic field has been measurably changing. Ben covers what the data shows, how it is tracked, and why he thinks it matters.
A changing upper atmosphereThe upper atmosphere responds to what the sun does. Ben walks through the observations and what they could mean for the systems we depend on.
The ionosphere in declineThe ionosphere is where a lot of space weather meets daily life, from radio to satellites. Ben covers what is being measured and why he is watching it.
The solar and pole shift cycleThe long-cycle question that ties the tour together. Ben presents the historical record and the research around the solar and pole shift cycle, and what the pattern suggests.

You do not need a science background to follow it. That is the point of doing this live. For the deeper science weekend on the ranch, see our climate-science gathering.

State of the Earth Tour FAQ

Who is speaking on the tour?

Ben Davidson, founder of Space Weather News, headlines every stop. Special guests include Native Patriot in Seattle, Dr. August Dunning on the Chicago and Tampa stops, Dr. Simon Goddek in Pittsburgh, Adrian D'Amico of SuspectSky on the Pittsburgh and Tampa stops, Jimmy Corsetti of Bright Insight in Phoenix, and Roger Cunningham, The Ethical Skeptic, with Stephanie Buchanan in Los Angeles.

Is there a live stream?

No. There is no live stream at any stop, and no recording is offered in place of attending. These are in-person only, and venues have no overflow, so seats are limited.

What is included in VIP?

VIP includes everything in general admission plus a dinner and Q&A with Ben after the main session, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. VIP is a separate, tighter-capped tier and sells out faster.

How long is the event?

One full day per city. The main session runs 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with the optional VIP dinner and Q&A from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Los Angeles stop runs 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Will the tour come to my city?

The current tour is seven cities: Seattle, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Houston, Phoenix, and Los Angeles, from August 2026 to February 2027. There are no other confirmed stops right now.

How much are tickets, and are they refundable?

Prices start at $99.95 for general admission, with VIP up to $399.95 depending on the stop. Each city is priced and sold on its own TicketSpice page, and the refund and transfer terms are shown there at checkout.

Where should I stay?

Every stop is at a hotel venue, so the host hotel or one nearby is easiest. If you are visiting Observer Ranch in Colorado, see our places to stay.

Get in the room before your city sells out

Seven cities. One day each. No live stream, no overflow, no second date once a venue fills. If Ben is coming near you, this is the chance to see the science live and ask your questions in person.
