Space Weather News is the daily record of what the Sun is doing and how it reaches down to Earth. Each day, Ben Davidson and the Suspicious0bservers team read the same data the observatories publish and turn it into a plain-language briefing: what the Sun did overnight, what is heading our way, and what it means for the days ahead.

That daily habit is the reason Observer Ranch exists. The property, the events calendar, and the Learning Center all grew out of the community that formed around watching the sky and the data together. This page is the home base for that connection, whether you follow along online or come see it in person.

From the screen to the ranch

Observer Ranch is where the online community meets in person. Space-weather mini-conferences, preparedness workshops, and live talks with Ben all happen here, under some of Colorado's darkest skies near the Royal Gorge. Space Weather News (SWN) is Ben Davidson's ongoing project tracking solar flares, coronal mass ejections, geomagnetic activity, and the broader patterns tying space weather to conditions on Earth. It runs as a daily video briefing on the Suspicious0bservers YouTube channel.

Observer Ranch grew directly out of that community. The property, the events calendar, and the Learning Center all trace back to the same core idea: pay attention to what the data is actually showing.

    How is this different from Observer Ranch membership?
